Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on October 09, 2025, notified regarding the Enhanced CAMELSC Supervisory Rating Model – Revised Guidance Note.

NABARD has revised the Guidance Notes on the Enhanced E-CAMELSC Supervisory Rating Model for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), building on earlier circulars and implementation experience. The updated model aims to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and clarity in supervisory assessments.

The revised guidance provides a clearer and more informative overview of key parameters under the E-CAMELSC framework, emphasizing their importance from a risk management perspective. Banks are advised to strengthen their systems, procedures, and compliance levels to align with the enhanced model.

Given that the model is data-driven and information-intensive, Boards and top management are urged to upgrade internal systems to ensure smooth and effective implementation. Banks are also requested to download the revised guidance notes and acknowledge receipt of the circular to the concerned Regional Office.
